Join Ana María Arévalo Gosen in her future plans to open a non-profit Organization ‘Dias Eternos, una Luz’ (Eternal Days, a Light) to provide help and donations to women in prisons in some Latin American countries where she has been working on female incarceration conditions since 2017.
Since the beginning of her work, she was confronted with the harsh reality that these women do not have the basic goods to live. Women in detention and in prison do not have water, food, clothing, medical services. Women in pretrial detention are serving an early sentence in subhuman conditions. And convicted women are deprived of any attention from the outside world. Governments do not provide these services, so help has to come from the private sphere.
The mission of this foundation will be to support these women. To bring them basic goods. To bring them medical help. It is a mission that Ana cannot carry out alone.
